Pappu Daddu Herbal Bath Powder

Mooligai Kuliyal Podi (Herbal Bath Powder) Recipe:

Ingredients:

1. Green gram (moong dal) – 1 cup: Acts as a natural cleanser.
2. Bengal gram (chickpea) – 1 cup: Exfoliates and softens the skin.
3. Turmeric powder – 2 tbsp: Antiseptic properties.
4. Vetiver (khus) roots – 2 tbsp: Cooling and aromatic.
5. Dried rose petals – 1/2 cup: Adds fragrance and is good for the skin.
6. Neem leaves – 1/2 cup: Antibacterial properties.
7. Tulsi (holy basil) leaves – 1/2 cup: Purifies the skin.
8. Sandalwood powder – 2 tbsp: Soothes and cools the skin.
9. Wild turmeric (kasturi manjal) – 2 tbsp: Enhances skin tone and has antibacterial properties.
10. A few drops of essential oil (optional): For additional fragrance.

Instructions:

1. Dry the Ingredients:
   • Sun-dry the green gram, Bengal gram, neem leaves, tulsi leaves, vetiver roots, and dried rose petals until they are completely moisture-free.
2. Grind to a Fine Powder:
   • Grind all the dried ingredients into a fine powder using a powerful mixer grinder.
3. Mix Turmeric and Sandalwood:
   • Add turmeric powder, wild turmeric, and sandalwood powder to the mixture. Mix thoroughly.
4. Optional:
   • Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for an added fragrance.
5. Store:
   • Store the prepared herbal bath powder in an airtight container. Keep it in a cool, dry place.

Usage:

• Mix the herbal powder with water, milk, or rose water to make a paste. Apply it all over your body like soap and rinse off with water. It cleanses, exfoliates, and nourishes the skin naturally.
